ABSTRACT
The character of coal seam and adjacent rock behavior within the faces while performing production processes for the complicated geomechanical conditions of the Western Donbas mines is investigated. Results of the underground investigations of the value and the rates of the roof and floor convergence withing the face operating space are given.
