ABSTRACT
The types of energy supply of the world community from the earliest times till the present are considered. The theory of change in time of world energy systems is given that on the basis of the fixed law of reducing of their effective application duration makes it possible to determine time for the transition to the subsequent. The main directions of energy development in Ukraine are described. They increase energy supply, improve the economic condition of the state and the environment.
