ABSTRACT
The necessity to solve the problem related to significant emissions of degassing wells gas into the environment is substantiated. The authors of the paper propose a new alternative technological solution that includes conversion of mine methane into gas hydrate state and further transportation of gas in solid state. The mechanism of gas hydrate formation process is clarified and the possibility of gas hydrates creation from gaseous mixtures of various compositions is analyzed. Substantiation is given to gas transportation in a state of gas hydrates.
