ABSTRACT
This paper presented analysis of the mechanism of government support for Ukraine coal industry. The basic function of government support: energy security, general economic, stabilizing, regional and social. Government subsidies sector by program to the industry under the "Measures for the protection of labor and increase safety at coal mines". Search and justification of efficiency of government support of the coal enterprises.
